graphic settings are system based, and every fresh reinstall will just give you the default settings.
nevertheless, if you want the fix to your situation: press alt-enter. that will force window mode and give you back your screen.

I had a similar problem on my 21" laptop. I just play it in a large window, not full screen, fixed the problem for me, and gives me more room to look around.

Um, Onion, while you're in the window, why don't you just set the game rez to your monitor's native rez? (Like Demize probably will)

Well guess this is as good as anyplace to post this, since it is Graphics related, I am running Vista 64 Premium with 8GB RAM DDR 1066 and a 8800 GTS 640 Extreme. I would like to be able to use the "Ultra High" settings on Guild Wars so that it looks better with DX 10 and all the features, I have searched, no results, looked in many of the threads, yet has found nothing regarding how to "Edit" what to allow for the "Ultra High" settings everyone has talked about, yet I have not seen. Thank you

guild wars does not support dx10, since it originally came out in april 2005. it uses mostly dx8.1 with a little bit of dx9 thrown in on some of the newer areas. i have no idea what you mean by "ultra high" settings, and i have no idea where you've heard about it.

Someone told me from GW, but they have since stopped playing it. So was hoping to find it here, also one of our allinace members said it could or should be here too.

No "Ultra High" or DX10 for Guild Wars. What you see in the graphic options in GW is what you get. No way to go higher. The only graphical improvement you can do is using kunt0rs mod that allows to display the high resolution textures of armours from other players while in an outpost. Like Moriz said, the game is from 2005, there was no DX10 back then.
